What People Say

"Reziah is absolutely amazing!! I’m extremely careful and hesitant when it comes to fillers. I’m always afraid of “changing” the natural appearance of my face. She’s extremely gentle and subtle with her work. I trust her with my face like no one else. 🙏  🙏

  • What is BOTOX®?
BOTOX® or onabotulinumtoxinA is a purified protein derived from botulinum bacteria. When injected into muscles it blocks the nerve impulses that cause muscle contractions. When the muscles stop moving the expression lines and wrinkles they cause soften and in many cases disappear.
  • Will I look older after BOTOX® wears off?
No, in fact the opposite is true. Regular BOTOX® use helps to prevent wrinkles and retrains the muscles to remain in a relaxed state. If you've only done BOTOX® once or twice then discontinuing treatments won't have any long-term effects and you face will return to its previous condition.
  • What is the right age to start BOTOX®?
Research shows that BOTOX® has a preventative effect. Therefore if delaying the signs of aging is important to you then you may want to consult with a qualitifed BOTOX® injector to see if BOTOX® is right for you at this time.
  • How often should I do BOTOX®?
The frequency of your BOTOX® injections is very individualized and can vary. Often at the beginning you'll need to have maintenance treatments every 3-4 months. Over time, the frequency of your visits and quantity may decrease.
  • Will I need more BOTOX® as I age?
Yes and no. Generally speaking if you do BOTOX® regularly it's possible that you may need less BOTOX® over time. In some cases, however, the aging process may require you to increase your dosage slightly. If you choose to treat additional areas you'll need more BOTOX®.
  • Is BOTOX® safe?
Yes BOTOX® is extremely safe. It has been used therapeutically for many years to treat various neurological disorders. Cosmetic BOTOX® was FDA-approved in 2002 and since then has been used to soften lines and wrinkles by millions of women and men.
  • What are BOTOX® side-effects?
When administered by an expert cosmetic injector the chances of developing BOTOX® side-effects are extremely rare. Potential BOTOX® side-effects (if they occur at all) are only temporary and can include the following: bruising, ptosis (droopy eyelid) and heavy brow. In the unlikely even of a droopy eyelid, there is specific treatment to reverse the condition.
  • How long will BOTOX® last?
It varies from person to person. For most patients BOTOX® can last anywhere from 3-4 month as long as the correct dosage is injected. After the first year of regular BOTOX® use it's possible that you may require slightly less BOTOX® units.
  • How long is the down time?
There is no downtime with BOTOX®. You can have your treatment during your lunch break and return to work right after. You may have some red spots at the injection site and these normally resolve after 15 minutes. There are some minor post care instructions that will not interfere with your daily activities.
  • Can everyone get BOTOX®?
Yes but there are a few exceptions. BOTOX® is a prescription medication that has to be approved by a medical professional. You'll need to answer certain medical questions during your pre-treatment consultation. Otherwise BOTOX® is a very safe and effective treatment.
  • Will I look natural after BOTOX® treatments?
Yes, definitely. When performed by an expert cosmetic injector you will look more youthful and refreshed, but always natural. We never overtreat our patients.
